Bladder Infection????
Posted: 11-25-06 15:54pm

I think I have a bladder infection. It feels like I have to pee every few seconds, then when I go, only a couple drops come out and I kind of hurts. I get this every once and a while and then it seems to go away like the next day. Im female and almost 20 years old. I have no health insurance so going to the doctor is totally out of the question. Is there anything I can do to help this. Im sick of runing back and forth to the bathroom.

my first suggestions would be to make sure you only ever wear natural fabrics in the groin area. Cotton panties are a must for ever girl and woman lol. And stay away from thongs and strings.
Avoid tight clothing in the groin area.
If you can after a bath or shower - stay nakey for a while, be an exhibitionist and allow the area to air dry as much as possible - if you haven't time then use a hairdryer on cool
avoid most soaps and washes, avoid bubble baths if you can for a time to see if that helps.
Change your washing detergent, use an non-bio (biological washing powders contain enzymes that effectively "munch up the grub" and these enzymes can affect your natural balance in the labia/urethra/vagina) and try to use less of it or put your clothes on for an extra rinse cycle.

As well as all the other bumpf that goes with it - wipe from front to back and don't then wipe again with the same piece of tissue.
Bacteria can spread through 3 layers of normal toilet tissue in just a few seconds (i've not seen it personally) because they are so small compared to the spaces between the tissue fibres.
Use a uncoloured and non-bleached toilet tissue (pure white is always bleached usually with something chlorine based).
And so forth.

During my micro class for nursing school, we were taught that drinking cranberry juice or taking cranberry supplement pills can be very good for this. Also, take a vitamin c supplement and drink plenty of water.

I totally agree with both post..

I used to get uti's all the time if I dont pee before or after sex.. And if I don't.. I am easily to get uti and it is annoying and painful so you need to go to the doctor and get antibiotic to cure them twerk away and make sure you drink cranberry and suchs..

To remind you.. If you going to have sex.. Make sure you pee before and after sex .. Some ppl who doesnt do that can have uti.. Unless you are easily to get it.
