Can I Get Aids If... (please Help) Posted: 02-01-04 15:07pm
What if I never had a guy cum in me, can I
still get aids? Please help. I have had
sex with two or three guys (all long term
boyfriends, like 1 year or more) and also
like one or two other times also. I am
scared because I am 21 and I never been to
a doctor for any sort of feminine check
up. I can not afford it. Also, I am shy
and scared to see a doctor, also because I
do not want my family to know so I do not
know which mailing address to give them.
What are any signs or ways I can know
myself? Thanks.
Please help! Any info can help.

Well sweetie you can get aids from kissing
someone if a person has aids and you
kisses him/her and you have a cut in your
mouth and his spit gets in it you can get
aids and there is no signs of having aids
it takes aids about 6 months to be seen in
a test and the reason I know all of this
is b/c my ungle had aids and died from
them so I know a few things about it

Like princess said you can get aids just
from swopping spit, but if you have not
been to the gyno, its time to go.
Especially if you have had multiple
partners. If you do not want your
parents to know, you should go and try to
find a planned parenthood in your area.
They are as far as I know free. I went
there when I was 16 and wanted to get on
birth control. They examened me and gave
me bc pills for like 4 months. I went
there, because I did not want my mother
knowing I was having sex, and they kepted
it confidential. I don't know, but I
think they are still free. It was 10
years ago. But you really need to go get
checked out for your own well being.
Good luck.

Dazed, you can get hiv and many other
sexually transmitted diseases if you dont
use a condom. And remember that sex
includes anal, oral, and vaginal. Yes
you can get things like herpes and
gonorrhea in your mouth/throat too.
Also, there are diseases you can get even
if it is protected... Such as genital
warts and herpes. Also remember that
just because he doesn't "cum" inside you
doesn't mean that fluid is not being
released during intercourse. The only
thing I can tell you is that if you are
having unprotected sex you should make
sure you are tested on a regular basis.
Make sure both you and your partner are
tested for chlamydia, syphillis, hiv, and
hepatitis b. You should also be tested
for syphillis and hiv again after 6 months
to make sure there was nothing incubating
that did not show up on the first test.
After that you should be fine if you
remain with only that person and that
person is only with you. If you change
partners, make sure they are tested prior
to having any form of sex. If you have
anymore questions you may e-mail me as I
am new to this forum and not sure how
often I will have a chance to look at the
posts. Also, www.Cdc.Gov has lots
of good information on the subject if you
want to look there (center for disease
control). I work in public health so if
I don't know the answer to your questions
I can surely find something out for you.

You also have to consider regular health
problems. I mean, you should definately
get a pap test. Your family should not
look down on that. I mean, even people
who are not sexually active have to get
annual exams from the gyno. You have to
be very careful. You could have
something that they can catch and get rid
of before there is any long term damage.
