It depends on your body.

I am anal about weight as well, and when I was on bc I never gained an ounce.

I cannot use hormones now, but it took trying them out years ago to figure this out.

If hormones cause weight gain, an iud will not. An iud is a birth control device inserted into your uterus, they are most suitable for women over 18.

Weight gain for pregnancy, if you were sexually active, would be far worse than 2-3 pounds for bc.

Nuva ring is least likely to cause problems out of them all.

It depends on the person and the drug. I actually gained when on keriva (generic for something but I forget now) and now that I am on ortho lo I have actually lost a few (i was trying so I dont think it was cause by the pill)

if you have any concerns just ask your doc about it. S/he will be able to give more detailed info about. You can also talk to a pharmascist since they have to specialize in drugs as well.

I'm on enpresse and I lost weight, like, immediately. Like they said, it all depends.
