We're getting our tree tomorrow. I'm going to post a couple pics but I don't think it'll be anything spectacular since it's our first real christmas and we don't have a lot of ornaments.

I'm so excited about decorating it though!

lol! Kids...You just gotta love em! My husband and I are both naturally clumsy people (we were made for each other) and our little boy is turning out the same way. Makes for an interesting life! Laughing

i'm too ashamed to post a pic of my tree because it's s*it.

These are real trees in people's homes - not the "commercial perfection" you see on telly Smile

Haha yeah maybe I should put an after pic of my tree up lmao. Theres a hole where the branches got bent on mine and my sons ripped off probably about 20 ornaments, he just likes to yank them off and hand em to me. I supposed I will be buying more ornaments every year till the kids understand that they stay on the tree lol. He just goes crazy yanking ornaments off lmao I think hes pulled off all he can reach though but we will see.

Hang em high! How can you not laugh though, I mean, he is young, it is .Christmas. As long as he doesn't try to eat them.
I remember one year I made decorated cookies, popcorn balls and all sorts of goodies to hang on the tree and we put our tree up and decorated it real nice and went to bed and we had two dogs and one was an irish wolf hound(supposed to be the tallest dog in the world), we woke up the next day to the biggest mess, the tree was on the floor and a lot of the food decorations was gone, but they did not seem to touch the wrapping that the decorations was wraped in or the ribbon that we used to tie them on our tree or the tree, tinsel or the lights and I think that was one of our last big trees we had inside. I panicked and called our vet, they were okay after a couple of days.

Tinsel is so messsyyy!! My mom *hates* it, lol. When .I was little, .I used to wrap myself up in tinsel &run around the house &make a huge mess. We'd still be finding bits of tinsel in .June.. Needless to say, we stopped using it! Laughing

I think your trees are very pretty jess and krissy , oh mommy, tinkinpink84 and all the others without the tinsel, I agree, it is messy and if you have little ones it can be dangerous and it looks just as good without it.

No tinsel or garland this yr, not with trey running around. I admit it looks a tad naked this yr but I didn't want him gettting into everything.
