Missed Period While Taking Loestrin24fe..normal?? Posted: 11-28-06 18:50pm
I have been taking loestrin24 fe for about
3 months now...I have had very light
periods but now I havent had one at
all...Like no spotting at all.
Is this normal.
I did have sex a few days before my period
was suppoused to come and I dont know how
early you can take a preg test after sex.
I am very worried. I didnt use a
condom...He did however pull out but I had
no idea about pre-cum. Please anyone who
has any thoughts on this please please
tell them.
Thanks to all with replies!

The new pills with a 4 day placebo week
have caused many women to lose their
periods alltogether, good for some,
worriesome for other women.
When your period is due, you can take a
pregnancy test.
Because of this new pill though, it is
normal. You may even have some bleeding
or spotting in the next pack, for a few
days or so.

I have the same exact problem! I've been
on loestrin for 3 months, before that I
was on orthotrycyclin and always got my
period. The first month on loestrin I got
my period very lightly for like a day and
then last month I got a little spotting
for a few hours and now this month,
nothing! I've had sex a couple times with
my live in boyfriend and we dont use
condoms so I am a bit worried but i've
heard its completely normal to not get
your period. How nerve racking!!!
So....I just want to make sure from others
that i'm not the only one missing their
period on this pill
