what? You've never had a snow day? I
guess it only tends to happen to us
country folk then...Ahhh, fond memories of
my childhood - huddled round the radio,
listening to the local station, waiting
with bated breath to hear the list of
schools that are closed due to snow!

Never had a snow day in my life I live
next to the town so the roads are cleared
in the mornings i've had a day
when the boiler was broken and when the
town was flooded and we couldn't get
through to school if that counts

Oh yes 'boiler day' I was actually quite
upset about that one I was only 7 and we
were having a special talk from a fireman
on the day and we didn't get to have it

Now I would love my fireman talk for all
the reasons I didn't want it back then!
But I was so upset I cried so my mum took
me for a day at the zoo so all was good

Lol, we canadians don't get snow days,
we're supposed to have tough enough skin
to handle anything.
Right now there is three feet of snow on
my lawn.

really? We used to get snow days left and
right but only because it was dangerous
for the buses to run if there was any snow
on the roads.
I can't wait for it to snow here! I love
snow!

I grew up in .Texas and .Louisiana, so I
never once had a snow day.
Although there was an ice storm during my
sophmore year that froze the water pipes
at school... We had an entire week off!
But it was nothing terrific, because most
of the city was without power anyway.

one time when I lived in .Texas, there was
