On september 21 I went in the er with a
heart-rate of 160 and blood pressure
rising. They treated me-excellently-and
referred me to a cardiologist-they ran
test and realized I had electrical
problems and sent me to an another
specialist. Yesterday I had an eps test
done on my heart (expensive) the thing is
i'm young and need this to be treated so
it won't kill me when I get older.
Well-i have done all atena has asked me to
do (pre-existing conditions-i have sent
them the form from my old insurance) but
now that isn't good enough-they need more
information-i am so scared I will be stuck
with 20,000 dollars all alone while a
billion dollar insurance company sits
pretty- but I won't go down without a
fight. My old insurance use to deny me
on everything too--i am sick of these
monsters thinking they can do this.
Has anyone else gone through this? What
was your outcome? What options do I have?
And what's the point in having insurance
when all they do is deny---i hear I can
have a hearing if all my options are
done...
