Spotting Again, After a Pap Posted: 11-30-06 12:12pm
Hi girls,
well I am spotting again today. No
cramping just feeling gross. My doctor
gave me a pap test yesterday and I am
wondering if maybe that is what is causing
the spotting today. Has anyone else ever
had that happen from a pap test during
pregnancy?
I am still very nauseated and my poor
boobs are on fire so I am still having
lots of symptoms of pregnancy. Just with
the spotting again for the 3rd time, I am
getting worried.
Any thoughts would be great.

I would call your doc just to be 100%
positive.
I did spot after I had a pap. Your
insides are tender and more likely to
bleed now, at least for a while. I also
bled after having sex.
Good luck!

I spot after any type of examination that
I have, and have done that since about the
24th week or so... I also spot after sex
as well.
But to be on the safe side, I would
atlease contact your doctor, it also gives
him a heads up with what your body is goin
through as well..
How far along as you?

Hi girls,
thanks for the info. My doctor does know
that I am spotting. She isnt very worried
about it for now as its very light.
The last time that I had sex with my hubby
I had spotting and sex hurt so bad that I
had to get him to stop.
I am only 8 weeks along, so this pregnancy
is very new. It is also my first.
Take care,
mary

Sorry you're spotting, it's pretty normal
after a pelvic. If it worsens contact
your doc. Congrats on your pregnancy!!

I dont' know how long you've been married
or how long you've been in sexual
relationships, but when I first got
married and started having sex, I bled
some too. I still do every once in a
while, and especially after paps.
During your pregnancy though, i'd let your
doctor know everytime it happens, just to
be on the safe side.

Hey girls,
i have been married for over a year.
Also been with my hubby for over 4 yrs
now, and never had bleeding from sex.
Just since I got pregnant, it hurts. I
wont have to worry about that till he
comes home in may anyways as he is now in
alberta working till the end of may so
that he can be home with me the last weeks
of the pregnancy and be home for a bit
when the baby comes.
The bleeding is totally gone. I chop it
up to the pap test. Its worrisome tho
when it keeps happening.
My doctor put me on diclectin yesterday
and what a wonderful little pill for the
pregnant ladies. It was soooo nice to
not be nauseated this morning when I got
up, however it makes me exhausted and on
top of the cold I have I am already beat.
I fell asleep on the way home from work
this morning was the scarriest thing that
ever happened to me. I just remember my
foot hitting the gas pettal and the van
shooting forward and me waking up and
slamming on the brakes. It was like 2
seconds before my apartment too. So I
was able to come straight in and go to bed
to sleep. Still scary tho.
