Q: Light Bleeding 17 Weeks

I just wiped and there was blood, not a lot but like at the start of a period. This never happened with lucas, and ive read people on here say its fine to bleed lightly on and off during pregnancy right? Im just a bit worried. I had to put a pad on. Is it ok to get cramps? Ive been really stressed the last couple hours, so could that be why? Is there anything I should do, im going to sit/lay down for the rest of the night.

Rest up and see your doctor in the morning.
If it gets heavier or cramps are bad go directly to a&e - no questions asked.

Ok everyone else may think i'm totally over-reacting, but if that were me then I would be down to my local .A&.E dept to get things checked out. It's probably normal and fine but I would want to get a medical opinion.

How bout ringing .N.H.S .Direct for an opinion? Number is 0845 4647. Dunno if you've ever rung them before but I have a couple of times and you get to speak to a nurse. They will tell you if they think it's anything you should get checked out.

Got cramps again Confused Could this be the pain some women get from their uterus stretching? I never had that with lucas so I dont know. Can someone who got those pains tell me what it was like plz? Cos it feels like period cramps to me.

When my uterus is/was stretching, it just hurts on the lower sides of my stomach, not really in the middle, &its not really a cramp-like pain, its more of just an annoying twinge that comes &goes. It doesn't last very long.

If you were bleeding, &you're also having cramps, .I really think you should go to the hospital immediately. I wouldn't want to take any chances at all.

I don't want anything bad to happen to you or the baby, .Allie!!

Thanks! Everythings fine Smile they said bleeding during pregnancy is fine and quite common, as long as it doesnt become heavy, and the pains I felt were most likely from the stretching. I got another ulta sound, saw the baby moving and they checked the heart beat and placenta....Etc.

I found out the sex too Shocked

If it was after going to the bathroom it could be a urinary tract infection which is very common in pregnant woman.

None the less make sure to talk your dr ex. If cramping is involved.
