Is This Normal In Pregnancy? Posted: 12-04-06 10:16am
My name is sabrina and I am 7 months
pregnant. Since I started my second
trimester I have been having bad headaches
and migraines every day that normal over
the counter meds don't touch. My Dr. Has
put me on fioricet and I am having to take
two pills twice a day to help reduce the
pain. About two months ago I have started
to have these spells where I am sitting
and my body temp. Rises. My whole body
gets hot, my face is blood red and I get
extremely dizzy and sometimes nasueas. I
feel like I am moments away from passing
out and have to use a fan and cold wet
clothes on my neck to get to feeling
better after a while. My Dr. Said that
she would like me to see a neurologist,
but I can't seem to get an appt. My gest.
Diabetes test result was 140, I have had
high blood pressure at my last two visits
and have swelling in my legs and ankles.
I have really bad carpal tunnel this
pregnancy too. Just to give you some
insight into my pregnancy. Should I be
worried about these spells or can I chalk
this up to being normal during pregnancy?

I might be wrong...But .K, tigrescanela24,
I think fainted in her 3rd trimester.
I don't know if it's "normal", but common,
yes.
If you continue to faint, call your doctor
immedietly when you wake up. This is
something that could cause you and your
baba harm, say if you fall.
