My grandma has been having these cracking noises in her head for several months and she finally went to the doctor. They think it may be a brain aneurysm. She isnt in any pain but fears the worst. The doctors seem to not really know what it is and want to do a mri. Do you have any suggestions on what it could be? Is this a symptom of a brain aneurysm?

Dear bethann, you might get more responses by moving your post to another location. Try to ask the same question in the "stroke" or "vascular disorders" forums. Or, you can ask our doctor online. Hope this helps! Admin
