Hey, I havn't been on ina while. My gma just got out of the hospital now my dad is in it, this is a lovely xmas... Anywho wanted to ask what do non painful contractions or braxton hicks feel like well in your words anyways? I had a painful m/c so I know what those feel like. But i've been having pressure in my stomache that moves into my pelvis and made my stomache feel stiff. Stays there for a min then just passes, about 15-30mins later it comes back. Doesn't bug me besides the fact sometimes makes it hard to breathe for a second. Just kind of concerned since it happens alot, have doc app tomarrow but wanted some other womens oppinion who might know whats up. Thnx ^_^b

Yeah, it sounds like you're having normal braxton hicks there! When I had them, it felt like my whole tummy went really hard and extra sensitive to touch. They weren't painful at all but were sometimes a bit uncomfortable because my bump would be so solid. The tightening would usually last anything from 10 secs to a minute and I got them quite a lot. My midwife told me I had an 'irritable uterus' because she only had to touch my tummy and I would get a braxton hicks!

Yeah, sounds like bh! It felt like just a "tightening" at first and of course the belly gets hard. Mine were very uncomfortable. At a couple points I thought I was going into labor because they hurt. I was just one of the unfortunate few that had painful bh contractions.
