Several Gastro Symptoms, Ill After Eating Dinner
Posted: 12-06-06 02:38am

In 1993 I was diagnosed as having gerd.

Six years ago I awoke one morning having severe extreme gripping abdomen pain which lasted for 48 hrs. Over time this reocurred more & more frequently until it happens almost every time now before I need to use the restroom.

In 2004 I had emergency hysterectomy after which, I started having lower abdominal pain which I was told was most likely adhessions.

About 6 months after surgery, I began noticing that I would get "sick" after eating dinner. I would feel as tho I was going to have a heart attack, would sometimes feel dizzy, start to sweat and always felt like by the time I ate dinner it somehow "built up" inside of me and that dinner was the breaking point. I felt alot of pressure around my diaphram, and fluttering feeling in my chest.

I have been checked for rapid dumping symdrome (as I have all the symptoms, even tho I never had stomach surgery) gallbladder, put on every antacid known to man.

Has anyone else had these troubles? I have been to so many doctors for this....And I keep that glazed look from them like they don't have a clue what I am talking about. If someone maybe has some ideas I could mention to (yet another) doctor, I would sure be grateful as I am so miserable anymore.
