Sleeping Through the Night!
Posted: 12-07-06 07:33am

I don't want to jinx it but we've gone 3 nights in a row with finn sleeping through the night! I am so excited and i'm hoping this hasn't just been a fluke. I feel so much more rested even though I still got up a bunch to check on him.

That's it, just wanted to share my excitement!

that may just be it girl, chu started sleeping through the night pretty much at one month (coincided with me being unable to breastfeed and giving formula). Isn't .Finn close to a month now if he isn't a month already?

He was a month old on sunday and started this on monday night. He's been sleeping about 8 hours straight, i'm sure he'll go longer eventually, though i'm not complaining. He probably would've gone longer today but his diaper was soaked, I changed him and he had an ounce and went right back to sleep for another hour. I hope i'm one of the lucky ones and this is it!

Well, I might have jumped the gun. We had to get up once last night, but that's probably because he was too tired to drink his whole bedtime bottle last night. I think he had less than an ounce so I figured he'd be up super early. Luckily he went right back to sleep after a bottle at 5am.

Don't worry, it sounds like the sleeping through routine is being set. It's normal for there to be blips - even now my son will very occasionally wake up in the night and need soothing. You're getting there! Smile
