I am a 44 yr. Old female with long
history of hypoglycemia & hypothyroid.
Recaently have had other symptoms too.
Dr. Ordered, in addition to tsh test some
tests i'm not familiar with. A panel of
tests labeled "basic
metabolic(bun,calcium, chloride,
co2,creatinine,glucose,potassium,sodium)
and a test called hgb a1c. Does anyone
know what these tests are used to check
for? Any info appreciated.
In addition to low thyroid symptoms, i'm
having problems with low blood pressure,
muscle spasms, and tingling and numbness
in my hands and feet. Thanks for any
replies.
