Well my alijah just turned two weeks today
and it just seems like hes eating a whole
lot( feeding while i'm typing). I mean I
kno that thats all they do for a while but
I feel like i'm feeding him 4to 5 oz
almost every other hour and he sometimes
still is hungry. How much is too much??

Well I dont know but at 2 weeks my little
cousins were eating about 4 oz. Every 2-3
hours. But I found a website and this is
what they said. Hope this helps!!!
Formula - the baby should take at least
11/2 - 2 ounces every 3-4 hours on a
scheduled basis. If the baby seems
hungry, increase the number of ounces at
each feeding rather than feeding more
frequently. Again, there is no need for
cereal, babyfood or vitamins. Supplements
of water may be given.

Its pefectly normal for him to eat that
much as long as he isn't spitting it all
up like dominicksmommy said. Was he a
large baby at birth? What is his
weight?

You Should Watch What He Eats Posted: 02-03-04 10:37am
I have been told that you can never over
feed a baby, its a lie.
I have a friend who's 14 week old baby is
the same weight as my 2y/o..... 12 kg or
25pounds. Depending where you come
from.
If you are formula feeding follow the
instructions supplied to you on the tin,
remember though breast is best..... If
you are concerned take him to the doctor
and get him checked, the doc is really
your best advice giver cause he can look
at bub 4 u. :d
