Does the Pill Affect Pregnancy Later On Posted: 12-08-06 05:55am
Does the pill affetc pregnancy in the
future??? I'm getting on the pill but I
surely want kids later on in the future!!!
My doctor told me that it wont be a
problem but i'm still a bit worried! Does
anyone had problems with getting pregnant
after stopping the pill?? Just to let you
know my doctor prescribed me yasmin. I
can live with all the other side effects
that can occur because I prefer the side
effects than getting pregnant right now
but I want to be able to have kids later
on!
Pls I need your help....My mind is full of
questions!!

There's no evidence that the pill causes
any problems with fertility when you stop
it other than the fact your cycle might be
a bit messed up for a few months after you
come off it. The depo injection is
another matter - women can find it takes a
year or more to become fertile again after
being on that.
Don't worry!

I was on the pill when I became pregnant
so it obviously didn't effect my fertlity!
Lol.
The only thing they suggest is to wait
until you get a proper period so they can
date it correctly
