Oh my god! When we were at the erotica
exhibtion me and my boyfriend got
interviewed by the people who make this.
They were asking us loads of questions
about the goth scene then they asked us
'do you enjoy sex during menstration?'
and, even worse; 'do you like to rub your
menstration blood all over eachither'?'
we were completely grossed out and mumbled
that I don't get periods cause of my birth
control.
So just for your information the people
who work for this company are sick no
namers!
but the instead soft cup seems to have a
greater capacity and as such i'd be
concerned about
infection.
kia...? I know you have your own opinions
about this but, if this becomes to be
another war match? Can you lock this?

Aw sorry
Least the ones there are really big you
can fit lots in 1 wash. Ive just bought
a new one but it wont be delivered till
after christmas. Bit annoying but the
old one still works, it just keeps leaking
at the back so I keep a towel down there,
and you cant fill it very much or it
starts going crazy!! I got it second
hand for free so its done well. Glad I
can afford getting a new one this time.
I hope you can get it fixed instead of
having to buy a new one.

I've only had it 7 months so it's still
under guarantee. I'm going to ring
curry's and get them to sort it.
to the original poster: sorry for going
off topic

rene, the girls are just suprised by the
soft cups, it's nothing personal to slight
you at all.
I quoted from a recent post to show you
about the other types of menstrual cups.
They have a smaller capacity and therefore
are less likely to lead to infection.
No-one meant you to be hurt or offended
it. Just soft cups aren't everyone's idea
of "great" is all.

I'm trying to picture how it would
work.....How would it stay up there in the
right spot? Also when taking it out
isn't there a chance that everything will
spill out. (gross)
nah, I don't like that idea, I would pass
on that.

It's springy so you squash it - pop it in
and it springs out - your natural muscles
hold it in just like they hold a tampon.
The difference betweent he soft cups and
the mooncup is that you can have
intercourse when using softcups.
Soft cup also do not have a "stem" which
the mooncup (divacup/keeper) does.
The stem allows you to pull the cup out
(sometimes you get a little suction and
you need to break that to allow
removal).
Because of the stem you are less likely to
get spillage.
The smaller capacity of the mooncup allows
for you to only have to empty it a couple
times a day, so the larger capacity of the
soft cups would (in my view) encourage
people to leave them in longer - hence the
greater chance of infection.
However, if you really do miss having sex
when on your period and don't want messy
sex - then the soft cups are a great
idea.
They keep everything clean and form a
barrier against the flow.
They are not however contraceptive and
should not be used as a barier method of
contraception.
Everything has it's good and bad points to
be honest.
While I really want to try a mooncup, the
instead soft cups just don't do it for me.
