determining if decay has began is important. Let's say, you have well water, it contains *no* flouride...Which leads to decay early on.

a new study shows that if you're formula feeding you don't want to use water with fluoride in it because the formula has enough. Too much fluoride isn't good, they're even trying to get that bottled "nursery water" off the shelves.

I know that has nothing to do with this, you just reminded me.

thats weird. Most water in the uk has flouride added to it and parents arent told not to give formula or to get bottled water instead.

so you have to buy bottled water?! Thats expensive! Couldnt you just buy a water filter?

.I missed this earlier, sorry.

We buy jugs of filtered water at the store. They have these huge water dispensers available, you just bring your own containers (gallon jugs) and it's only like 25 cents per gallon or something like that. There are only two adults in the house that drink water (.Alyvia is exclusively breastfed), so it's pretty cost efficient this way.

We definitely don't buy bottled water. That is expensive. Shocked

Allie, isn't lucas a bit young for milk Confused Or do you make the porridge with formula milk/breastmilk?

I understood it wasn't wise to give cows milk to infants under 12 months?
Other than that it looks like he gets a great range of different foods.

The price of bottled water isn't that bad, we do the same thing as laura. Our water works out to be 13 cents a gallon.

Kia, we were told the same thing. Not to give chu cow's milk before his first bday.

Our bottled water is $3.50 - $4.00 for a 5 gallon bottle....And we have to buy it because we cannot drink tap water either......Even with a filter I don't trust it.

They do have water delivery services, but we personally don't use them. My husband and I both drive, so it's never been an issue for us.
