Goooood evening, ladies.
I had my 26wk doctor's appointment,
today!
We had to sit in the freakin lobby for
over an hour.
I hate having appointments in the
afternoon.
But anyway.
Everything is awesome!
Nothing new to report, really.
I'm still measuring big, but she said she
isn't going to change my due date at
all.
I'm not measuring *that* big.
She just said that he's a big boy!
His heartbeat is great, &.I'm not
swelling anywhere!
No sign of any stretchmarks yet!
This month .I weighted in at 171lbs.
Last month .I was 166!
Everyone keeps telling me .I've
been gaining really gracefully.
So at least that makes me feel good,
lol.
I have to go to the hospital on the 21st
to have my .Rhogam shot &my .Glucose
test.
Two birds with one stone! Woooo!
My next appointment is .January 8th.
Yay for my healthy beefy .Gabriel!

Is the .Rhogam shot for a negative blood
type, or something else? I never got one,
but .I'm .O-positive, so is that why?

You have to get one if you're rh negative.
I think rh is just a blood protein. Most
people are born with it, but a small
percentage is born without it. &.It
can cause a lot of problems if you don't
get the rhogam shot. Because since .Chris
is rh positive, .Gabriel is rh positive,
so my body would see him as a foreign
object to my body &attack him
&kill him or cause all kinds of birth
defects or something like that.

just because .Chris is rh positive, does
not mean .Gabe will be, for sure.
Oni wound up being rh pos and I had to get
the shot afterwards as well.
But my mom is o neg and had to get the
shot. My dad is a pos. I turned out a
neg.
Congrats on having an awesome visit!!

Thanks!!! I'm so happy everything has
been so great so far.
I'm starting to really really stress,
though. We're trying so hard to save- but
we have nothing at all! My checks are
really sparse &.Chris is trying
desperately to get out of debt. We still
have nothing but clothes for him,
&still no sign of getting our own
place. Only 14 weeks left, too.

Don't stress luv, just take things as they
come. The only thing you really need
(speaking of big ticket items) immediately
is a carseat, and somewhere for him to
sleep. Everything else you can get as
you go along. It's nice to have but it
isn't immediately necessary. I got a
changing table for the baby that we don't
use. I think I might have actually
changed his diaper on it once. The rest
of the things (like the exersaucer,
jumper, etc) we couldn't even use until he
had gotten a little bigger. If it's
better for you financially to stay with
your parents for a while after gabe is
born then do that and save up your
money.
You can also pick up some of the furniture
second hand. Not the crib or carseat
because it's too dangerous.

Yeah. I duno he's been my family doctor
since I was born..And my moms family
doctor since she was like 20. So I know
him so well and he's delivering my baby, I
lovee my doctor but I dont know. Maybe
its cuz he noes that im obsessed with my
weight? So lol he doesnt want me not
watching what I eat and be stuck with a
bunch of fat after the baby? I duno
lol..You wud swear I was once a fat person
that lost a bunch of weight and now am
just obsessed with it..But I duno ive
always been so obsessed with it..Ive taken
personal fitness for like 4 years now and
ive been dieinggg to exercise for the past
3 months but I havent. But now I can!!
he
said no more than 20 minutes of cardio 2
times a week. So yeah, but I know even my
mom said 11 pounds is kinda retarded.

.That's ridiculous. In someone who is
normal weight before pregnancy, you're
supposed to gain at least 25lbs.
If you're underweight, you're supposed to
gain 35lbs. Your doctor is a nut.
&.Don't obsess so much about your
weight. Especially during pregnancy.
Your baby needs the extra fat. I've
gained 18lbs so far, &my doctor said
that .I look great &that my weight
gain is on track.

Glad your appt went well krissy!
By the end of my pregnancy with lucas I
had gained about 35 lbs which is I
think...7 lbs more than the maximum you
should gain. But then I was underweight
pre-pregnancy so I expected that
increase...Works out right from what
krissy said.

No..Im not obsessing over my weight I eat
what I want. I just dont eat junk food,
but I never have. And yeah for someone
that was like 155 before they got pregnant
171 isnt that bad...But for me to be 171
at 26 weeks pregnant is hugee. But, a
teacher of mine, shes small like me..And
shes due in february for her 4th girl..But
she's exactly like me, her boobs hardly
grow, she's just mostly belly, etc. But
shes had 4 healthy pregnancies almost. So
I just think the whole gaining like 30
pounds while pregnant is ridiculous, I
also think gaining only 11 by 30 weeks is
ridiculous as well so whatever, 20 pounds
by my end is ok for me. But we'll see
what happens, ive never been pregnant so I
dont know! I just dont know why my boobs
have not even grown yet! Its making me so
mad..And now they've stopped hurting as
well..I had 2 ultra sounds plus heard a
heartbeat with a doppler, so I know the
babies fine. But, I want them to groww
