Should a nine month old still be getting most of their nurishment from breast milk or formula? I babysit a baby that won't take any milk at all during the day.

If a mother has enough milk for breastfeeding, adapted cow milk doesn’t have to be given in the first 6 months. If a mother doesn’t have enough milk, the milk deficit can be replaced by adapted cow milk. Starting from the 7th month, experts suggest that breastfeeding be replaced by adapted cow milk step by step. In 7th month, one of every 6 daily breastfeeding meals should be a meal made from adapted caw milk. Every month thereafter, parents can replace another breastfeeding meal with a meal made from adapted cow milk. After 12 months, breastfeeding can be stopped altogether and be completely replaced with adapted cow milk. There aren’t widely accepted rules, but in practice: fruit juice starts to be given in the 4th month, fruit and vegetable pulp in the 5th month, cereals in the 6th month, potatoes in the 6th month, milk products and honey after the 6th month, meat in the 7th month, eggs from 8th month, and so on.
