Breastfeeding Nazis!

Yeah I know about the nazis. It's a sensitive issue for me because I tried and wasn't able to do it. Chu liked the right side too. Caused me quite a few pains in my right leg toward the end. but he was a big boy like gabe is.

We had ranch burgers and fries!

The only place i've come across breastfeeding nazis are a couple of the forums I frequent. I was afraid they'd try to pressure me or guilt me into breastfeeding at the hospital but it said in my file I was bottle feeding and nobody ever mentioned it.

Finn used to jam his butt up under my ribs on my right side. I was always pushing his butt back in because it was pretty uncomfortable.

We missed dinner because we were too busy trying to get finn to go to sleep so we could have ourselves some good old fashioned lovin'. He finally went to sleep and a good time was had by all!

Really? They're everywhere here. I've never been to a wic office but the doctors/nurses/random strangers around here are always screaming "breastfeed or die b*tch!"...Or the equivalent....

Haha my wic office is the exact same way about breasfeeding. I almost felt afraid to tell them that I ended up having to turn to formula! Bc I thought they were going to spaz!

Of course theyre nazis about breastfeeding, it saves them a ton of money everytime a woman breastfeeds, they dont have to pay for the formula

&.Bridget, .I do that to .Gabe allll the time. I have to push him down from under my rib, because after a while it just hurts really bad. Or if .I poke him a few times he'll move pretty easily. It's just so funny that he always lays on the right side. I can always feel his foot or his head or whatever part of him protruding out. I'm pretty sure he likes to pretend like he's running a marathon right there, or playing in the .World .Cup or something.

The hospital I went to was pretty pushy towards breastfeeding, I told them I didnt like breastfeeding so I wanted to bottle feed and they kept saying how breast feeding is better, then they made me feel as I was a low life because they kept saying "formula is expensive are u sure u can afford it? How much does your bf make?" I never told them how much shawn makes, it was none of their buisness...

I didn't even know wic had classes... I have been going since I found out I was prego and had no idea. But I know what you are saying. Its a double edged sword really.. Of course breastfeeding is best for your baby, but not always easy... I honestly don't know if i'm going to make it. You said your milk let down already so I am hoping for you it will come naturally. It seems like nearly every woman who breastfeeds has her own battle with it ranging from lack of milk to soar bleeding nipples. B.U.T. It really does piss me off how the formula companies push push push your hospital, doctors, and so on to get moms to use formula. Formula is so much more convenient, you just pour it and shake it fills the baby quicker, they need less feedings, the wake less often at night because it is digested slower then breast milk. Formula companies are in it for the money and not the benefit of your child. I don't think there is anything wrong with feeding a child formula I have had to supplement since melina was 4 days old and I still am I am starting a rigorous process of pumping, taking herbs, and trying to wean her off of formula I honestly don't know if I can make it! I hate to see her hungry and crying for a few days because she has gotten used to the quick fix of formula but it is just stopping me from trying hard enough to make myself produce more milk. We will see how it goes.. I hope you can breast feed! It honestly is the absolute best. I know what you mean by the nazi thing tho, some women are obsessed with it. You should check out la lechea league too.. They were very helpful to me and you can go when you are prego I wish I did.

O and melina would always stick her butt out in my left side.. I always told my friends shes going to be a tiny baby look her @$$ fits right in the palm of my hand and I was right! Somedays you could see and feel the big lump just sticking out of her lil baby booty
