I really hope you get your bfp this month! What better way to start a new year. Well, I am pretty sure my cycle started over on the fifth and my cycle is 35 days long usually so I won't be testing until probably around january 10 or so. Maybe I will have good news next month. I truly hope so. It would have been better this month (i liked the due date better). Keep us posted girl!

I am also waiting. My cycle was screwy last month. My af came 3 days early, so our attempts were too late last month. We started ttc earlier this cycle and I really have been paying attention to my cm. I think I ovulated on either the 11th or 12th. So the earliest I can test is the 25th...That would be an exciting christmas present! My cycle is about 27-31 days long. Good luck to all!

Jersey and monkeygirl....Yay for us! Lets hope that we all get a bfp right around (or shortly after!) christmas Smile Smile
jersey - you should still try and bd today b/c they say you should bd even up to 2 days after you think you've ovulated - just to be sure, and that your body could have ovulated a day late!!!!!
Keep me posted ladies.....I will be crossing my fingers for you! Wink

Good luck to you too. Actually my husband and are pretty much bd every other day since day 6 of my cycle and are continuing to do so. I know it will become exhausting after a few months, but for now we are having fun. Thanks for the tip!

I really hope I hear some good news from you over christmas and new year!!! I am thinking bfp for all of you!! Smile

Well, so far girls I think I ovulated on cd9 which is really wierd considering my cycles are 35 days long. My cycle has been wierd the last couple of months. I had eggwhite cm during cd7 and 8 and then a temp spike on cd9. It was still increased today on cd10. Doesn't that seem kind of odd that I would ovulate that early? Thankfully we bd'd about 3 times before this and now one time after. Maybe it will work. All I can do is hope. How is everyone else doing?

Monkeygirl - yes strange to o on cd10, but I think you did just that, so here's all the baby dust to you and let's hope we see those bfp's in 2 1/2 weeks!!!!!

Do any of you have a squishy cervix right now? Although I do not check my cervix everyday, I do check it from time to time and usually after I ovulate it is firm. I should be 4 or 5 dpo. Today I checked and it is soft and squishy...Like my lips and my cm is clear, but not stretchy. Just wondering if any of you check your cervix.

Ok, this may be the stupidest question ever, but how the heck do you check your cervix??!!! Confused
Don't worry about the cm, mine is not really there anymore, and if I do get a bit, then it's a tad watery too.
Anyway you can get ahold (or buy one) of a basal thermometer? I bought mine at shoppers drugmart for about $7.00 - I would be interested in seeing what your morning temps are right now?!

Well...Hopefully I am doing it right. I stick my middle finger into my vaginal opening, with the pad of my finger towards the front of my body, while slightly squatting. You will need to stick your finger pretty far up there and you should feel it. It will either feel like the tip of your nose (firm) or soft like your lips. Usually it is soft when you ovulate and they say it will remain soft if you are indeed pregnant, but from what I have read it can vary from each woman. I might take a shot at my morning temp just out of curiousity. I have a basal thermometer at home...I have just been too lazy to try it yet. I know it really does mean a whole lot if you are not charting, but generally I am the standard 98.6. We will see.

I checked mine today and it was soft and high as well. I also had my temp drop today so that probably means I just o'd I think. You girls can correct me if i'm wrong. I hope everyone gets a bfp this month.

Ahhh...Gotcha on "checking the cervix" process!!!! Wink
monkeygirl - if it's around that time for o, and your temp dipped today, then you probably did...Yay!!! Check to see if your temp rises tomorrow or the next day, and if it stays there for 3 days, then you most likely did!!!! Hope you did alot of bd'ing!!!!
Lets hope that santa brings us all bfp's as pressies!!!!!

My test day is next wednesday, december 20, and I have a feeling af will visit before then. Sad

i've been getting cramps off and on since thursday night and they've been moderately painful (more painful than mild). My bbs are a bit swollen and painful. Today, i'm crabby and irritable, most likely from hormones. If I have cramps before my af, they usually start the day before. The fact that i've had my cramps for several days now is the only thing that seems different.
