Is This Fixable?

Was reading a profile on a very nice young lady tonight... It was nicely written, and described her quite well. And the more I read, the more I became intrigued... Point after point after point, she was hitting on all my interests! Just amazing... As good a match as i've found. So I tried to send her an email... And was blocked. She's 48, i'm 51... But she had her age filter set to 49, and the system punted me right out of the playing field.

Any legal way around this?

I suppose I could create a fake user from another ip address and ask her to check out my profile... But that seems so cheesy. Probably a violation of the user agreements as well, although I haven't checked. Anyway, I choose not to go down that road.

Is there a solution, or should I just suck it up and soldier on?

Thanks

As redneckhippy said - no "legal" way around it. You can go temporarily edit your profile and change your age down two years. I'm not sure i'd do that myself - if this woman is 48 and has set her upper limit at 49, sounds to me like she's looking for a younger man. But your decision - temporarily changing your birthdates on your profile would allow you to send her an email. The more I think about it, the more I think I wouldn't - but if I did, i'd explain in the note to her what you did and why, and instantly after I sent the email i'd go change the profile back to the real birthdates, so when she reads your profile it has your correct age and doesn't appear you're trying to lie about your age - as some obviously do here.

What a terrible dilemma. Personally, I wouldn't try to get around it. She must have some reason for it. What was the lower limit, 18? The age range should lend a clue to her wants. And if you do work around it to email her, she might get all angry and turn you in for stalking or something. Maybe you could get a friend to email her, but then she'd probably end up dating him. Scratch that.

if your ment to be its worth doing a little work maybe it was a test to see if you would get of your backside

any ways all the best and good look

let me know how you get on if you fail move on to the next lol I wish it was that easy lol
