Where Has the Time Gone?????
Posted: 12-14-06 22:41pm

Today was my last appt. Before I start going back every 2 weeks Shocked . My results from my glucose tolerance test was perfectly normal Smile , although my iron is low. I have to double up on my prenatal vitamins. They smell so nasty!!!! Don't 'cha think?
So I have gained 2 more pounds(14 pounds total, but 10 pounds pre-pregnancy). I will (hopefully) get my c-section date by next appt.
I registered at the hospital and booked an appt. For my rohgam shot.. Fun!

I'm super duper tired, and I still have laundry to sort.. Blah!

I am glad to here that your glucose tolerance test was good! Sorry to hear that your iron was low hope they can get that picked up soon, you haven't picked up that much weight maybe you are waiting until the end like I did but your baby belly is so cute! Pregnancy just kind of takes it out of you plus all of the running plus your two other boys plus the holidays. I am sure glad that you don't have to go to work but I bet your two boys and .Hubby keep you busy enough!!!!!!!!!!
All of the best to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nope, you're correct! 13 days difference between you and .I!

With the shot, they have to take blood beforehand to check to see if you're producing any antibodies and then give you the shot. They told me it would be at least a 2 hour wait for the results, so I booked an appt. To come back for that. So we are half done lol.
So it will be .Jersey & .Gabe together <3 Smile

thanks .Sandy! They do keep me extremely busy!

Lachlan's 5 weeks?!??!?!?!?!?!?!? Omg!!!!!

.They have to take blood beforehand, really!?
Why did .I not know this?!?
I had the shot after my miscarriage,
but maybe they wouldn't have taken blood
before that, since .I wasn't pregnant?
(or, .I actually was, but we didn't know, lol)

lol I don't remember having blood taken beforehand with either boy either.... Weird! I thought it was new Laughing . But they did say that if for any reason, they did bloodwork within the two week time before the rhogam injection, they may not have to take it again. I dunno! Pregnancy has done a number on my memory Twisted Evil

Oooh, maybe that's it. Maybe with your boys you had gotten bloodwork done or something? I know they took blood right after my rhogam shot after my miscarriage- for no apparent reason, lol, they said they were gonna take blood just to run tests just to be safe. I think it's funny that they did that, because those results are what showed them that my hormone levels weren't at zero, which led to the finding out that .I was pregnant again- .I always think about if they hadn't of taken blood that day "just to take it" how long would it have taken me to find out .I was pregnant again? Laughing

Did they take the blood tests from your doctor's office or the hospital? You didn't have a .D&.C right?

I'm looking forward to the super big needle in my butt.. Not! I prefer the butt because I have more fat there Laughing . More cushion for the pushin' :p

I had the bloodtest there at the hospital right after my rhogam shot, &they sent the results to my doctor's office, who called me &said they needed to do one more blood test 'cause my hcg levels were at 13, so they just needed to make sure that they were back to zero a week later... Lmao, but um, they were up to 7000 after the next blood test .I had!

I didn't mind the needle in the butt at all, lmao. I didn't think it hurt one bit. I don't mind shots, though. I just don't like watching them draw blood from my arm. *.Shivers* .It always makes my arm sooooo weak.

Do they do the rhogam shot anywhere else, or do they have to do it strictly on that place on your hip?
