Not Mastubating????? Please Help Posted: 12-15-06 01:14am
I'm a 19yo male. I sometimes get this
urge not to masturbate for about a month.
Is this unhealthy. During this period, I
might become aroused maybe oce a week.
Should I take care of the erection or
what? I'm very curious. Please help.

Most of the men is saying that "i m
overmasturbating. Does it have any bad
effects?" and u r saying just the reverse
of it. No one can decide in place of u.
It is your life, your penis and hormones.
Just give your decision according to your
wishes and capabilities. I know 2 things
that may give you some clues when giving
the decision. First, if the semen get
accumulated too much in your testicles or
wherever they are, thats unhealthy. (wet
dreams may be a solution for that).
Second, after masturbation (however
perfect your masturbation doesnt change
this) some semen is left behind (thats why
we have to pee..Even in that case they say
some remains inside). That is not healthy
either. But when having intercourse u get
a full ejaculation.

semen does not "accumulate".
Sperm are an "on demand" kind of
product.
It takes up to 70 days to procuce each
spermatoazoa and they then "wait" in the
epididymis (see the info post stickie at
the top). In the epididymis they mature
and become ready to be ejaculated.
If they are not ejaculated within a few
days of maturing they are broken down and
re-absorbed back into the body.

again, see my first
reply.
This is simply inaccurate. Ejaculation is
the same process whether you masturbate or
have intercourse.
Due to the penis' self cleaning internal
processes there may be the odd few sperm
at any time in the urethral tube. There
is always moisture being produced to
lubricate the urethra and this lubricating
fluid comes from the testicles and hence
can contain sperm.
This is also why pre-cum (a natural
lubricating fluid) can and often does
contain sperm and why therefore you should
always use a condom.

Often times the loss of libido or sexual
desires in men is the result of other
things, often times mental conditions.
Are you depressed or stressed? While not
always a problem in and of itsself, it can
be a sign of other problem. I reccomend
seeing a doctor and getting checked out
thoroughly. Being a 19yo male and going
a month without sexual arousal is unusual.
