Had My 38 Week Appointment!!!! 12 Days Left. Posted: 12-15-06 09:17am
Had my appointment this morning I am 38
weeks and 2 days, 12 days left, they took
my iron this time they havent done that
ina while it was 12 something but she
said was good, blood pressure and
everything normal , they monitored her
heartbeat for 15 min and contractions,t he
heart beat is really good they said, I had
one contraction. Ultrasound went well its
around 3500 grams I havent looked up the
pounds yet its a littel over 6lbs or so I
know last week it was estimated 6lbs 5 oz.
So eh we will see, they checked my cervix
today I am not dilated at the moment but
my cervix has shortened, normal cervix is
4cm in length and mine was 2cm at 28 weeks
and today was 1cm. My next appt is on my
due date , she said everything is good so
I could come back next week or the
following it didnt matter so I chose 2
weeks away.
I found out that if she is healthy and I
am healthy I can leave the hossy 4 hrs
after. I just have to let them know if I
plan on staying or not when I get there so
they can know to get a bed ready or not so
lets just hope it all ends well and we are
both healthy and I can leave !!!
The hospital here is soooooo gloomy and
dark , and I saw a nurse bringign a
patient a tray today and she was eating
off of it , that is like really nasty.
They also said they would let me go 12-14
days over if all is well so eh hopefully
my baby comes in 2006 and not 2007 hehe
