Hi! Quick question I thought i'd put out
to everyone.......
I am supposed to be going for some barium
x-ray tests on dec.29th (tummy problems
) b.U.T that is the
day that I am supposed to be testing!
I have to drink all this chalky thick
stuff and then go over the course of 2
hours and have a series of x-rays done.
Now, i'm thinking this is not good if I
could be pregnant. (thinking I should
call and let 'em know the situation and
change the date)
also have to go for day surgery on feb.15
for a scope down my throat into my tummy
. At least i'll
know by then about a buba in the tum, but
if I was, would they still do the
surgery?
How can you tell I would do anything to
get out of these two tests...Ahhhhh .
Just asking your thoughts.............

I would definitely call the doctor that
scheduled the test on the 29th and ask him
if it would be okay. They may want you to
reschedule. I'm not sure if they would
still do the endoscopy or not. I know it
doesn't sound fun but it's better than a
colonoscopy trust me. What kind of
stomach problems are you having if you
don't mind me asking?

having the colonoscopy done that same day
too I
really don't want to. I've heard do many
horror stories from my gf's.
I have a bad tummy....Ibs, lacking some
digestive enzymes, get a really sore
swollen tummy after eating a decent sized
meal, the list goes on.
I've had it for so long though, and this
is the second series of tests they're
doing on me with a new gastroenterologist.
They never found anything the first time,
so I wonder why i'm putting myself through
all of this again
yeah, if there is no af by the 29th, i'll
be calling to re-schedule the barium
x-rays and go from there!!!

Did you have to have a colonoscopy? Was
it terrible?!
