Miscarriage, Sadness And Numbness Posted: 12-15-06 14:36pm
I found out four months ago I was
pregnant. I was so very very happy as was
my boyfriend. We of course told everyone,
this being our first.
I miscarried a month ago and had to have a
d&c. I am beyond sad, I am just numb.
My friends and family call but I don't
want to answer. My boyfriend has been
great, he was there for the d&c and
knew how much pain I was in physically and
emotionally.
Although I feel i've ran out of tears, I
dred going to work. I just want to be
home. I don't need pity, I just need to
let go once and for all or go crazy.
Thanks for listening to me.

Having a miscarriage is rough, especially
when you are almost in the 2nd trimester
and think everything will be ok. It is
normal to feel pain like that but you need
to talk to people and do stuff for
yourself or for others to lift your mood.
Maybe go and volunteer a bit or
something. And try not to worry that
this will keep happening either, a lot of
people have misacarriages and go on to
have healthy babies. I lost 2 before
having my son. Best wishes to you.
