Ugh ive been having pretty bad cramps since monday and I went to my ob on wendsday, they told me I have bv and the flu and gave me some antibiotics for the bv, but then the doc had to check to make sure I wasnt dialating because of it (which that doing it hurts, I hope they dont have to do it as often during labor as I always thought) I wasnt dialated I guess cause she didnt say anything about it, but now im freaking paranoid as hell thinking that im gonna start dialating, and we are going up to boston in about a week and im scared something will happen while we are there now because of this and I wont be able to do anything because I have state insurance and other states wont take it

i dont know im really scared and paranoid right now
is there any way to know if your dialating other then sticking your finger up there, cause to be honest even if I did that I dont think id know what I was and wasnt supose to be feeling

I think you'll be fine! If your doctor thought there was something wrong and you were ging to dialate he would have sdaid something or put you on bedrest. If your that worried ring the doctor but I honestly think your ok! What was the name of the med he gave you for the bv?

I hope so, im just so nervous and worried like ive been for the last...Oh...About 17 weeks and im sure my emotional rollercoaster isnt helping matters much anyway lol

um, she put my on something called metronidazol, dont know what it really is though, I figured if my ob gave it to me its ok, im trying so hard not to research it, I do that with everything new I get but I dont want to now because if I find something I dont remotly like I stop taking it, but im trying so hard to keep myself healthy for my baby, so I dont wanna research it lol

Thanks, I really hope your right, I wish I could say it helped but to be honest I have a bit of a chronic paranoia issue, even before I was pregnant, so yeah, I just have issues in general

ill try to stop worrying so much, I might call my doc before I leave just to be sure

but just wondering, does anyone know if (for knowledge sake) if you start to dialate early, if it can close back up naturally? Just wondering, I think knowing if thats possible or not may help a bit
