Following Up On My Last Post! Posted: 02-03-04 15:00pm
Well let me tell you that I did end up
going back to the er I passed out on
saturday afternoon after I ate, so when I
woke up I was throwing up and this was
around 7pm, so I waited a while and
eventually went in to the hospital and I
was having the worse head aches in my life
without exagerating I have never had such
pain anywhere in my body. So they took me
into triage room and al my vitals were
fine, but she still put in as priority, so
then inside when the doctor came in he
sorta examined me looked at my eyes and
felt the back of my head, but thats it,
then he gave me some medication to get me
sleepy and supposebly to take the pain
away, but all it was doing was relaxing my
body pain was still there, so I told him
that I didn't want any drugs cause they
weren't doing anything for me as far as
the pain went. I was crying at the time
so after like 10-15 minutes he came in and
gave me more drugs to numb my body at that
point still having pain, I told him that I
went in to know whats wrong with me not to
get drugged up, he then looked at me and
yelled at me saying " miss what do you
want us to do, we don't know why you are
having pain, and we can't do x-rays or a
cat scan cause you are pregnant. So all
we could do is give you pain reliever,
well hell I was pissed off cause I am just
so tired of drugs, I told him that mauybe
xray or cat scans are not safe for the
baby and asked him if drugs were safe for
a baby?? He then stood quite and said
wqell then I don't know why you came in!
I then said I was just going to go to
another hospital where they knew more of
what they were doing so I got up and was
about to walk away when one of the nurses
grabbed me by my shirt and pulled me back,
she then said you can't leave unless you
want me to call the cops, I said well call
the cops but don't ever touch me again.
Then they took the iv off and finally let
me go home. Needless to sat at this point
my head feels like it is going to burst.
I am tired of going to the doctor's no one
wants to check me and I feel as if they
think I should just deal with a headache
but they can not possibly imagine my pain,
I mean come on I would not go in to the er
and wait for 3-4 hrs for a common head
ache! What do I do, how do I get the help
I need and want!!

Oh sweetie this sounds so bad, is ur gp a
better doctor or have u tried visiting
another doctor one who will listen. I
would ring my gp and see wot he/she says,
and ur right those drugs could be doing
harm to ur precious bundle.
After this is all over I would sue theire
asses how dare they treat a women with
obvious symptoms such as wot ur having and
being pregnant and all that they deserve
to have their medical licenses taken away
from there.
I hope u get the answers ur looking for
and quickly.
From someone who cant wait to have a jelly
bean all of their own

I am shocked to hear that. I would have
punched the doctor for being an ass and
the nurse for grabbing me if I was you.

ridiculous. I would do what
the other people have said. Sue their
asses off after it is over. Really they
don't need to have their Dr. Liscense if
they don't know what they are doing.
