Hubby In An Accident Tonight :-( Posted: 12-15-06 21:45pm
Well I had one of a wifes worst phone
calls ever tonight. My hubby was in a car
accident that thank god wasnt worse than
what it was. He spun out on black ice and
there was a tractor trailer headed
straight for the side of the truck. All
he remembers is that one minuted he
thought his life was over, and the next if
felt like someone reached down and pushed
the truck to the side of the road and into
the ditch. There was someone out there
watching over him. I am so happy that he
is safe and tho he is shaken and bruised
he is otherwise doing ok.
I know that this is off topic.. But I had
to say something. Being pregnant
certainly makes these things more
emotional thats for sure.
Thats scary, glad hes ok, winters getting
closer here and im soooooo afraidof black
ice, ive never driven in ice or snow
before so tis nerve racking .

Oh mary, i'm glad he's ok though. Is he

Thanks girls. He called me again and he
is just stiff and sore.. But a very lucky
man. The truck is toast. He is out in
alberta. He will not be home until feb or
march at the earliest. its our first
christmas apart in 5 yrs too so its going
to be a hard one. Thank god I am going
home to my parents so that I am not home
alone.
Anyways, im exhausted. He called me at
2:30 am and talked for an hour and then of
course I couldnt sleep after that.
Ughhh.. So time for lunch and a nap here.

I am so sorry to hear about your .Husbands
accident black ice is so scarry! You
never see it until it is too late! I am
so glad that he is okay! I am glad that
you will not have to spend .Christmas
alone! It is too bad that you will not
see him until .Feb., or .March, hope time
goes by fast for you! Hope you get some
rest!
