Old Med Use?
Posted: 12-16-06 01:28am

I'm using duragesic for chronic pancreatitis (genetic, not alcohol) pain. The patch I put on this morning fell off and landed in such a manner that I couldn't reapply it. That'll leave me with 3 days of no pain relief at the end of the month.

I do have an old patch; I didn't need it at the time because I was in the hospital for a couple days and skipped it. The expiration date is dec 05. I'm wondering if a patch that old would offer me any relief at all or if it's just useless by now. Is there any reason using one that old would actually be dangerous?
