Is she like spitting it up like the
exorsist where its shooting out her mouth
or is she just spitting up? It could be
the type of milk shes drinking or it could
be shes eating too much either way i'm not
100% sure so check with your doctor.

It can be the milk shes drinking, ask the
doc maybe your baby needs to change
formula
Check with the doc. It could be nothing,
but it could be something.

Unless she is shooting it out like the
exorcist like someone mentioned you
shouldn't be too alarmed. I had this
same problem at first with my daughter and
I thought the same as you!!! My doc told
me it looks like she is spitting up alot
because once she swallows the milk it
mixes with alot of saliva and such so when
she throws it up it looks like alot.
Believe me I know it looks like she spit
it all back up. I just had to change my
daughter to a soy based formula.
(similac isomil) is what I use and it
works real well. Also.....Does your
daughter have watery stools? That would
be another indication of a milk allergy.

It could be reflux... Normally its
nothing to worry about, breast fed babies
tend to get it alot, breast milk is alot
thinner than formula so you should keep
bub on a 45 degree angle after a feed for
atleast half hour... This gives her a bit
of time to prosess the milk,,, also change
her nappy befor her feed, burp her when
you change breasts, this does get better
with age. You only need to be concerned
if the vomit is curdled, has green phlem
in it, she looses weight or fails to
thrive, her fontella becomes depressed or
buldges, her skin stays tented when you
pull it or she becomes hard to wake......
I had the same concerns, this was told to
me by a pediatriction,,,, remember breast
is best

Dont let them freak you out. Your baby is
fine. Sometimes the baby wont burp,
sometimes the pipe thing in the babys
throat doesnt close all the way and
thereefor they puke. Your baby is fine,
sean did the same thing. I would still
call the doctor though because sometimes
things happen...I am here if you need me!!

Hey, I wouldn't worry too much about the
vomiting. My son did the same. I also
breastfeed. I was told that although it
looks like alot of milk their vomiting up,
it's actually not. If you take a spoonful
of milk and poor it on your counter it
looks like alot more than a spoonful. I
read that in one of my baby magazines. I
called the doctor just to make sure and
they said that I should stop in the middle
of feeding and burp him. Sometimes they
get gassy while feeding and they just need
to burp. They didn't seem concerned so I
didn't.

If it keeps up, I would make an appt. For
her. Just make sure your burping her
often! Good luck!
