Depo Provera shot and Penicillin Posted: 12-28-06 23:17pm
Hello. I recently had been diagnosed with
Strep Throat and was prescribed
Penicillin. I have been on Depo Provera
for the past 5wk+ and was wondering if
that could've had an effect on the shot or
not? I noticed that towards the end of the
10day period that I was ordered to take
the penicillin, i was having ewcm...Is
that normal or an effect from the
antibiotics? I thought that my cm is
supposed to thicken while on the shot. Any
advice?

Penicillin has no interaction with the
hormonal contraception.
To the administrator: I couldn’t find
the meaning of the shortcuts “ewcm”
and “cm”.
