hiya, my period is due in about a weeks
time but i am going away and would really
like not to get it!!! I am planning to go
back onto microgynon 30 pills (i have been
on them on and off for years) but wondered
if i started the pills now, would i miss
my period next week??? (i realise i would
not be protected straight away)
your advice would be so great. thank
you!!!

Yes, if you start the pills now you would
miss your period next week. You can delay
your menstrual period expected next week
if you started a new contraceptive pack
now. You won’t be protected from an
unwanted pregnancy so you'll have to use
another contraceptive method (condom) in
the meantime.
