Is Sex Safe After Losing Mucus Plug?? Posted: 12-30-06 00:47am
Okay.............. So I know that sex
will help you go into labor. But
yetserday I already lost my mucus plug, so
is it still safe to have sex???Because I
know after your water breaks its not safe
because of bacteria and stuff. I want to
have sex to get the labor going because of
the whole preclampsia thing......., but my
husband is scared ........Because the doc
says he can definitley feel the babys
head.My husbands afraid he will hurt the
baby.
U can, I did never had any problems, I
lost my plug a week before my son was born
and went overdue so we tried everything

I had sex at 37 weeks and had my baby. I
didn't want to have her 3 weeks early, but
the semen forced her out.
The semen contains the same hormone that
our brain produces to initiate
contractions. I had sex at midnight and
started having contractions immedietly the
next morning. And by 7.58pm, she was
here.
Soooo, having sex is ok. But if you're
early, try to restrain on him coming
inside of you! Tell him to pull out.

Nooooooo! I was told no by my doc. If
it's gone and anything is inserted
vaginally, bacteria can be introduced
compromising the health of the baby.
