I thought this was the perfect time to tell you guys...Haha... I'm being induced on thursday. I've been going in for stress tests every other day at the hospital now, and i'm so ready for this to be over. She said to come in on thursday at 2 ready to be induced, but that she might make it friday but she'll let me know on thursday after she's checked me. So thursdays the big day when I get to see this baby's little face and meet her. Can't believe it. I'm super scared, it still seems so surreal that I will actually have a daughter in 3 days. I'll be showing tons of pictures, via myspace, and i'll pm them to melissa cause she doesn't have myspace. Here i'm pretty sure you have to stay in the hospital for 3 days so it might be a while until you guys hear from me. Everyone keep me in your thoughts as I am terrified out of my mind.

I haven't been induced personally so I can't offer much on that one but i'm sure you will be just fine - you're going to get your baby!!!! God, it's so exciting! Labour isn't a walk in the park but it is soooo worth it when you get a healthy little bubba at the end.

Wishing you all the best and looking forward to seeing pics of your beautiful daughter Smile

Why have you been going for stress tests? And why did they decide to induce?

Good luck! I hope everything goes well and I can't wait to see pictures!!! You're keeping the name a secret, right?

I'll be thinking of you on thursday!

Tanya, why are you being induced? (i'm hoping that you actually take that as the question is it).
Your original due date is the 7th isn't it?

Are you still undecided between the names you like?

Thanks ladies. I really hate being pregnant (my mom pointed out only conceited selfish people hate pregnancy, ha) but the thought of labour scares me so much i'ld consider staying pregnant another month or so. Allie i'll pm you whatever I send melissa, since i'll just have to copy and paste it from one pm into the next, not much work.

I'm about 99 percent sure on the name... But i'm just keeping it to myself cause my mind is changed to easy by what other people think of the names I like.

my sister was exactly the same two years in a row she was heavily pregnant through the hottest part of the summer, my turn this year lol, she was supposed to be induced on my birthday because daniel was late but he came two days before and with the second she was walking everywhere drinking rasberry tea all day then faith came on her due date. Good luck again

I'm not sure my dr's reasons for making me come in for so many stress tests, I thought that was normal towards the end... Cause my friend that just had her baby had to do the same thing, come in every two days, and everyone else I know that had her deliver their babies. I think she does it for everyone of her girls, maybe that's just how she does things but she never gave me any reason to worry about anything or any indication that something might be wrong with the baby.

She just told me that she wants to induce that day. No big medical reason for it, she just said by now the baby is not gaining anything by being in there longer and not losing anything by being induced.

I keep having pee show up in my urine tests, but then when they check my blood it's within the okay range, higher up on the scale, but still fine... Though i'm not thinking that has anything to do with the stress tests or the induction.

Edit ***hahhaha I wrote I keep having pee show up in my urine... Duh... That's what urines made of... I ment sugar keeps showing up in my unrine***

That's so weird. I've never heard of a doctor inducing before your due date for no real reason.

At least you don't have to wonder when you're going to go into labor!

yeah the one going by my last period was like in the second week of december sometime. Then after my ultrasound they moved it ahead three weeks. It was more than a week ago she said she's sure the baby is already 8 pounds. My dr is known to be "induction happy" but she is also known to be the best dr for baby catching. All this time she had been telling me she's sure i'ld have the baby before the end of december.

Arrghh !!!
Too exciting!!!
Can your doctor do it on australian time- it's 3.18 tuesday afternoon here already!!!!

Betcha anything you gear yourself up for the wait, and go into labour yourself first!!!!!

- things you must do in the next three days.........

Have showers/baths for as long as you like with the door shut, not listening out for anyone waking up
have your hair cut
go out for breakfast
sit in a cafe for ages reading a book/magazine/watching the world go by
see a play/film/band
do or have done all kinds of pampering, pedicure, eyebrow wax, face pack etc.
Shave your legs (if you can reach!!)
go to the toilet with both hands! And door closed.
Stay in bed for as long as you like
listen to music loud
ummmm...
Did I mention stay in bed for as long as you like???

Enjoy and good luck.
