Cardiac Spasm With Hellatious Angina
Posted: 02-04-04 01:48am

Hi, I have a rare condition called cardiac spasm and have angina attacks at least 30+ times per month. I'm on medication that's suppose to stop this from happening but it doesn't seem to work and they have no answers for me as to relieve it. I live on nitro tabs and wear a 0.6 nitro patch every day. If you have had anything similar to this please let me know. It's been a long haul that's going nowhere. Lipsatzipit12962

Hi
I had a stroke Aug last year followed by a heart attack 3 weeks later.
I also suffer from angina attacks frequently, had a strong attack tonight most attacks i finish up in IC ward in hospital for 3 to 4 days I use nitro tabs and use 0.6 patch also I also wear a 3 day patch for pain (Durogesic 100)
+ endone pain tabs + all the other blockers etc. My angina is caused by major build up of fatty deposits in my veins arteries etc my stroke was caused by my carotid arteries blocking up one 100% that cant be fixed the other was 92%+ blocked that one was cleared by surgery had 3 stents put in my heart but now need bypass surgery. and have found out this year that i have blockage behind my left knee that needs attention go back next month to see the surgeons to fix that problem getting tired of hospitals and surgery

Best wishes with your problem
