Am I Paranoid About Pregnancy? Birth Control Concering Q Posted: 01-01-07 22:31pm
Right now I am close to the end of my
second pack of birth control pills (ortho
tricyclen lo) I am concerned about
pregnancy because I had had unprotected
sex (he pulled out though) within the
first 2 days of starting this pack...
Generally this would be okay except for
the fact that I had missed the very last
active pill in the pervious pack by 18
hours... I had gotten my period the next
day after that so I just brushed it off.
6 days in to the second pack (one that im
on now) I had unprotected sex again but
this time he came in me, I went to the
clinic and had gotten an ec.... So far
it's been a bit over 2 weeks and was
wondering if I should go in and get a
pregnancy test of am I a bit too paraoid?

You do sound a bit paranoid.. The ec was
a great idea, and helped you stay
protected.

Hey! How your feeling is normal girl...I
was paranoid so much the first 6 months on
was on the pill...Generally, they say
depending on what start day you have, your
protected after your first full back.
Many after two weeks. You are fine, your
not pregnant. As long as you have not
missed any pills you are fine. I do
understand, I stressed out every month
because he comes in me all the time...But
so far its been fine! (knock on wood).
You can take a test to ease your mind but
I can almost bet your not pregnant.
Best of luck

Dont get paranoid. I was exactly how you
were I got all upset cuz I was so paranoid
and come to find out everything is normal.
I was just overreacting. Also being
paranoid for so long can really mess up
your next period too. If you are still
paranoid then I suggest that you get a
pregnancy test done so then you know for
sure
