I'm so excited for you .Tanya! Good luck!!!!! Mr.
Green

i'll be thinking of you.. It can be a bit frustrating if the gel stuff doesn't set things off right away, but you'll have your baby girl in your arms before you know it! I loved my labour, and i'd do it all again in a second.. I'm so glad I didn't have an epidural, I might sound crazy but the urge to push was an amazing feeling for me.

I totally know what you mean about the existing thing.. I often just have moments where I think "sh*t.. I actually exist". Mental.

Tanya, I agree with .Kia's first post! If anyone can do it drug free, it's *you*!! You are a very very determined person who knows what she wants!

I'm not gonna say much more because people might think that I think i'm better cuz I went drug free.

But know that the less drugs the baby takes in, the better!

Reguardless, you'll do great!!!

I can't wait to seeee herrrr! Aren't you and .Krissy the only ones left?!?!? Ahhh!!!

Good .Luck! You and your daughter will be in my prayers!

It's funny. When I woke up the second time today I felt so much more brave about this birth thing than I have in the last weeks.

Do most hospitals let someone stay overnight with you? Cause mine doesn't.

Yeah, they definitely have seen worse. I didn't even know I was going on the table until someone told me. Trust me, you don't care.

Tanya, just do what you can! You never know how your labor's going to be until you're in it. I talked soooo much smack about not having an epi. There was noooo way I would have made it through without one.

*edited bcuz tanya has to go in today*

the nurse told me that the gel very rarely actually starts labour. The way she made it sound is the gel is just going to soften my cervix (the nurse didn't check me but the dr told me already i'm completely effaced a while back, so i'm a little confused why my cervix still needs softening???) and then the next morning they'll start pitocin.

Lol at your poop talk. I guess it wouldn't be that big of a deal. What i'm not looking forward to is the nurse's checking my panties and having to call them if you pass any clots in the toilet (after having her) so they can look at them... Ewie. That's what my friend said happened with her, I don't like the sounds of that.

i was only given two doses of the gel and then my waters were broken once I got to 4cm. I was definitely having strong contractions after the second dose, the first one started mild contractions but things were going very slowly and I only got to 1cm.

Maybe when they check you they won't bother with the gel because you're already effaced, and you'll get the pitocin straight away. Either way.. Good luck!

i wouldn't mind getting started right away. About two appointments ago I was 2 cm's dilated, and then the next week between 2-3 cm's she said, so maybe i'm even further and something happens right away!
