Tylenol??

Can you take any kind of tylenol , if you are breastfeeding? Or can you only take the regular strength? I have had a massive headache for 3 days now but all we have is the tylenol rapid release ones. I dont know if those are ok or just the original regular strength. Ive heard that any tylenol is fine but ive heard that only regular strength too.
I think I got a headache from lack of sleep and my son shrieking daily cuz hes having issues with his new sister and getting attention.

I don't know the answer to that one......Do you have a doctor you can call....Or a nurse in the doctors office?

If you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of your healthcare professional before using tylenol or any other medication.

Hmm , oh well, I know that the regular strength is ok, but like the rapid release I beleive is the same mg but they release faster, I might just ask while we are there tomorow , if they know. Since we will be spending most of the day at the hospital with joseph, he is getting circumsized at 9am , we gotta be there at 8am and stay for 4 hrs after its done. I might make hubby go get the regular strength tylenol. Most meds all say to consult a dr but the only one I am for sure of is the regular strength. I think thats the only pain releiver I recall from the list they gave me.

When I was released from the hospital, they gave me a prescription for .Tylenol 3 for my after-birth pains. I flat-out told the nurse that I wasn't going to fill the prescription, so she told me I could take extra-strength .Tylenol instead. I was/am breastfeeding my daughter, so I assume .Tylenol is safe for breastfeeding. But do ask your own doctor just to make sure - don't take my word for it!

Haha the german drs do not know what tylenol is, I am gussing the pain releivers they use something called wait I dunno it begins with a p, like we refer to tylenol as acetominophine (sp) they have a diff name, jason had me trying to explain to the dr what tylenol was exactly but eh didnt go over well, im thinking if the headaches are really bad then I might cave in and take the tylenol rapid release, wich I did once, but I was aslo supplementing her with formula , for some reason it seemed my milk was really low the other day and she wasnt eating enough , she ate the formula like she was starving, only 3 times has she had formula, I was scared lol but shes doing fine with the breastfeeding and me pumping so that is good Smile
