Hi bemuda,

if you are ever concerned about something during your pregnancy, don't hesitate in going to see your doctor about it or going to the hospital. Yes cramps are normal throughout pregnancy, but sometimes they can be warning signs in early pregnancy that something isn't right. The cramping shouldn't become a problem unless it is accompanied by back pain and bleeding. If you have any signs of bleeding go straight to the hospital. I had a miscarriage in may of last year, it started off with mild cramping, and 2 days later I was bleeding, had a very achey back, and ended up in hospital. So certainly don't dismiss abdominal cramping as normal if it feels wrong.

Good luck.

I Think Its Okay Bermuda
Hey, my name is heather and I am no 15 weeks and 5 days. I have had cramping several times and with this being my first I was very scared. My doctor gave me a magnet and it is the midwifes. I am able to call any time I have a question, scared, or somethings wrong. Did your doc give you any kind of number?
I had cramps real bad for 2 days and even bleeding, then came this blood clot, they took me straight in for an ultrasound and everything was all right. It was my placenta connecting to the uterus and hooking up my baby fully to me. Don't ever be scared to call the doc. Or go straight in to the Dr. Cause the more you worry, the more you stress that bby of yours. Let us know how it goes and how your doing!!! Smile
