Would You Prefer...(part Two) Posted: 01-05-07 10:17am
To be recognized in your lifetime or
after? Any specific reason?

Posterity - at least I can be of some use
when i'm dead then. It would be nice to
think of people still referring to me and
speaking my name once I am long dead and
buried.

How about both......But I really dont'
care.....Just want my children and my
childrens children to remember me once I
am gone.
Like my nanna she was 103 when she passed
and to think that she live 100+ years is
amazing to me. I will share her story
with my baby and so forth. But she is
famous to me....

I think i'd rather be recognized now. It
seems lonely to be recognized only after
i'm already gone. Love me while i'm
alive, I won't know when i'm dead.

I had to think about it for a long time
before I could decide 100% I think it's
more a question of how you view the world
than anything else. I think this
corresponds to my attitude about life. I
prefer planning for the short term. My
long term plans are always vague and hazy
at best. I think that's why I don't
really appreciate the posterity thing. I
really can't think that far ahead.
