The other day my friend was telling me
that she saw in some store a cover type
thing that you pretty much put the car
seat in & it zips up & it's
insolated & all that. .It's suppose
to be so you don't have to have a blanket
over top of the babys' car seat when you
go outside in the cold... .I was just
wondering if anyone has ever used one of
these or if anyone else has even heard of
them...

I've seen them, they look really hot.
Finn's already a hot baby, he sweats a lot
so I just put a blanket over him when we
go out. I could see using one of those
covers if you were going to be outside in
the cold for a while but not if you're
just going from the car to the store or
something.
I think tanya posted a pic of her carseat
with one (with a teddy bear inside!).

I got something like that but for the
stroller. I loved it for those in
between days and even winter days last yr.
Not too sure about the car seat one as
it's in a car and warm already.
I bought one and been using it for my
daughter, it fits snugly on the carseat, u
still cover them in ablanket depending
where u live, I am in germany so its
pretty cold here and we dont live in a big
city so the wind and stuff is really cold
and we get more wind where we are at so it
helps alot. If I lived in say fla or nc
in winter I prob wouldnt have wasted the
money on it but here it gets really really
cold. It unzips and theres a part that u
can open just to see there face. But eh I
like it becuase it is of good use here.
So if ur in anorthern state its a good
investment suprisingly I got mine in
florida it was on clearance for 11 bucks

Thanks for all the replies! .I think .I'm
definetly going to get one, bc we live in
the mountains so it's pretty windy here
& .I hate fighting with blankets over
the car seat bc when the wind blows just
right they fly up anyways. Do they have
an actual name or are they just called car
seat covers? Lol..
I think they are just called infant seat
covers or something, I had the package for
mine for a while but recently threw it
out, they have it in the section where all
the car window things are like those that
stick to the windwo to pull down to keep
the sun out, at least in most stores, I
think normally they are like20 bucks, but
I got mine on clearance its nice and cozy
and keeps the wind out
