My uncle has ms. He has been living with
it for now about 25 30 years. I believe he
is around 60 now. It took his doctors 5
years to diagnose him. Not to scare you
but he had all the symptoms you were
having but all the doctors kept saying was
its all in your head. Finally they did a
spinal tap and found lesions on his spine
leading to him having ms. Im really not
trying to scare you when I say this but he
lives in a nursing home and is paralized
for about the arms down. He cant talk well
but his memory is normal. We have been
through some hard times with him. Hes been
really sick in the hospital! Good Luck!

Hello, my name is Kim, I have been
reveiwing some of the testimonies posted
on this site, seeking some identifiable
symptoms to what I too experience. My
story is lengthy, but my cry for answers
is the same as many posted here. What you
describe above is all too familiar.
Adding to the above is my ears....The
feeling of pressure, fullness is sometimes
more than I can bare. My symptoms began
in Jan of this year. Off work for over six
weeks with disabling fatigue. Eventually
overcame the fatigue so I could return to
work (afraid of losing my job)- MRI's
brain, cervical, ears. One lesion noted on
the brain scan at frontal lobe area. ?
say's the neurologist, but doubtful for
MS. Countless blood tests, costly visit
in desperation for answers to the
Cleveland Clinic (I live in vegasOnly to
hear I probably have fibromyalgia, chronic
fatigue syndrome. Blood work reveals
extremely high epstein barr, with positive
herpes 1 simplex- Started now on Lyrica
which is supposed to help with fibro.
Cervical MRI shows spinal stenosis.
Started with pain mgt having epidural
steroid injections into the cervical neck,
this was a recent procedure, but so far
the neck pain, stabbing, burning remains.
The legs are constantly tingling, burning
at times and numbing, even into the toes.
My memory is terrible at times. Seen a
movie the other night with my husband. Got
home and was asked by the daughter what
movie I had seen. Couldn't remember.
Right sided tingling on face to mid line
lip...Crazy!! But they tell me it's
fibromyalgia, and I cannot relate to this
diagnosis because I do not hurt all over.
I do not want this disease, but I do want
answers and that appears to be the general
consensus of some on this site. I do know
though that in some crazy way, it just
helps to know that someone else out there
feels what you feel. Families, friends,
physicians do not understand...I feel
alone sometimes, and very afraid... Kim
