Oh my goodness! I thought that I was the
only one with a belly that big this early.
I turned 7 weeks today and I think that I
am bigger than normal. Today I got m/s
for the first time. Ewwww.... I don't
like it.

Jaemierin- it depends how your counting,
the 40 week time frame includes the two
weeks before you o'd (if you have a 28 day
cycle) so according to my calculations
that makes you 5 weeks and 4 days.
Shortfroggy- your belly looks great I
want one!

Hey jae! I know for a fact that I got
pregnant on dec 9th. So that puts me at 7
weeks and my baby at 5 weeks. I am just
going by the numbers that the dr gave me
not the actual age of the baby because
everything else does too!At first everyone
tred convincing me that I was one week
further along but whenever I told them
that I have longer cycles but ovulate
exactly 2 weeks before my period they all
understood. Talk later

Thanks ladies - terp, that's what I
thought I was!!! 5 weeks and 5 days
today. I am looking forward to getting
into the doctor's just to confirm though,
so once I know for sure, I will update you
on that!!!
Nicky - ok, I will try and post a belly
pic tomorrow. Jolie wants to see it too,
so I guess i'll put my brave face on and
just do it, but no laughing! I'm warning
you, it's a mighty big belly for a mere 5
1/2 weeks!!!!!!!!
Musik - i'm pretty sure that I got
pregnant on dec.11th - 2 days after
you???!!!! Oh well, i'll just ask the
doctor when I go in - i'm having all day
brain farts as it is!!!!!! no
point in making my brain work harder!!!!

hi musik, if you got preggy in dec 9th,
that would put you at 6 weeks and 1 day
(depending on the date of the actual
conception which could be the 10th, seeing
that the egg lasts about 24 hrs).......The
actual age of your baby would be 4 weeks
and 1 day.
Dec 9 (conception date) 2 weeks
dec 16th - 3 weeks
dec 23rd - 4 weeks
dec 30th - 5 weeks
january 6th - 6 weeks
january 7th - 6 weeks 1 day
so if the doctor told you that your baby
was measuring 7 weeks.....You may have not
ovulated when you thought you did, or your
baby is growing very quickly.
Hope this helps

.How can it possible to "show" that
early?
Isn't the baby not even a centimeter long
at that point?
(not doubting anyone or being rude- just
saying! Lol)

Ya it's pretty much impossible to show
that early. Not to be rude but a lot
of women have "pouches" and when preggo
feel confident enough to let it all hang
out thinking it's the preggo belly when
it's not. That's usually what the
"showing so early" bellies are. Preggo
bellies start out hard-ish.
At 6 weeks the baby is the size of a small
bean about 9-11mm.
**edited becasue it was early and my
conversion was wrong-lol

I didn't even think the baby was that big,
.Jess! At my 6wk ultrasound, she said the
baby was .28cm! Sooo tiny. I was just
kinda pudged up when .I was 6wks- .I was
bloated. Haha. I know everyone is
different, but .I didn't start noticeably
showing until .I was 17 or 18wks.

The original poster is probably mistaking
bloating for what she believes is her
baby.
I was crazy bloated early in this
pregnancy!

Ok i'm awake.
10mm=1cm, so 9-11mm does equal 1cm. Lol
about the size of a chickpea.

Ya, I agree...At 7 weeks the uterus is
still down and behind the pubic bone.
