How did you know you were in real labor and not in false labor?
And how did you know when you lost your mucus plug? When I lose my mucus plug is it supposed to be like normal discharge or is it a egg white what does it look like? And how will I know when my water breaks?

i knew I was in real labor because I woke up at 4 in the morning with pain that kept coming on and off.

My mucus plug was clearish, gooey and had a little tint of blood. It does look like an egg white.

You'll know when your water breaks because uh...There will be a lot of fluid coming out of your cooch? Unless it only leaks out. I wouldn't know really though, because my water never broke.

If your water breaks before you get to the hospital, you'll know....With my first child, it just felt like a warm gush of water coming out...Didn't feel like it was coming from my bladder and couldn't stop it..Like you can if you need to while you're peeing...Never remember losing my plug (with any of my 3)..Actual labor contractions vary from woman to woman and even from labor to labor...My first two kids' labors were awful and lasted 9 and 11 hours...My 3rd was born 15 min. After getting to the hospital and I never even had to push...She just kind of came out...
