These Pains Are Almost Unbareable Posted: 01-07-07 02:03am
with my first child I had extreme hip
pains. (the ones the start at the hip and
shoot down your leg) now I pregnant with
my second and I want to know how to ease
it. It hurts so bad some time I end up
falling to my knees. Please help if you
know any remedies.

Sounds like sciatica
much as it hurts it is best to remain
active.
Activity is best for sciatica - it is the
symptom of pain that cause us to try to
not move.
You can take paracetamol/tylenol (safe in
pregnancy) or ibuprofen (do not use during
pregnancy).
If it persists from more than a week or so
see your doctor about this.
It's caused by pressure or irritation to
the sciatic nerve.
