I Have to Ask...

O.K first let me say that I am not trying to start anything with anyone. I know how territorial and protective you all can be. You're all close, and i've said before it suks to be a newbie or someone you all consider to be an outsider on this forum.

Having said that, I have to know what exactly constitutes being a "faker" on this site? I see people talking about it and I have seen one member saying it about another member. Or one member saying it about a couple of other members. I just don't understand. What I can understand is if someone is saying they don't have reproductive organs and end up preggo, or if someone says they are a man and then announce that they are due to have triplets on july 4, etc.

Then I see people that everyone used to like and used to talk to being treated differently.
I'm just confused and would like to know what?

Fakes are just liars, basically. They aren't really who they say they are. They make up stories about their lives, &their "baby" or "babies" that they don't really have.. They make up a whole life &live through it on the forum. &.Sometimes fakes can get away with it for a really long time.. But eventually, they get caught when evidence starts to pile up &you find contradictions to their stories &things just don't add up. Sometimes people come on here &post pictures that aren't really them or post pictures of someone else's children saying that the kids are their own. We're pretty good at sniffing them out.

When you get to know everyone, you know a lot of who they are. If they are a faker, things won't add up over some time. It becomes obvious.

We are definitely close. We(or shall I say i) hate when ppl come on here playing someone they are not.

I guess I don't see the point of coming on here lying about it? What benefit do people get from it?

I'm reading more and more about people's pics getting stolen. I would be wild. Makes me leary to post online.

That's the sad part, there is no point. People who fake are completely pathetic. I don't understand what they gain by pretending to be someone they're not. They obviously have sad, pathetic lives.

I'm not worried about people stealing my pictures. If they do, whatever. They'll get caught eventually &if they think my life is so fabulous that they want to pretend like they're me, then whatever. Haha! I've found a few people on myspace & xanga who were using my pictures &it made me laugh. It's sad &completely pathetic.

You'd think at the end of the day, it would make you even *more* depressed when you look back on your day &think about how you're pretending to be someone you're not. I don't see how it would make anyone feel better.

I wouldn't be so worried about someone stealing my my stuff, of course I don't have any pics of myself, as i'm always the one holding the camera, and i'm not really into having my picture taken at this point.

I would be worried about some sick sob stealing pics of my daughter (and son when he gets here) and using them for something nasty.

I would be very depressed if I had to fake being someone else to make my sad sad life look good. Christ!

Which is why it is adviseable to watermark pictures.

People have stolen posted pictures?? I just learned how to post pictures, now I have to worry about them being stolen?? What? I really don't want to post on here again if someone will be stealing my pics. Do people steal pics and use those pictures as a made up self??? If that's true, can't that constitute true fraud and be subjected to a law suit or something??? I would think so! I would be so ticked.

Also, I do think it's quite sad that people make up stories - probably for attention. They are unhappy with who they are so they make up a psycho-self to make up a newly invented them. Personally, I can't understand people actually doing that. Perhaps they should get into acting in their local community theater where they can legitimately play someone else and get away with it. That is so sad.

Either use paint to make a copy and put your initials or "logo" on the image.

Or use some other image editting software to apply your watermark.
Some examples using my "k in a star logo".

yes, it's true.
Yes, it's true fraud.
Yes, you have the right to persue a case against the person.
